FaceBook Marketing Tips on HubPages

Date May 12, 2008

I am a huge fan of Facebook because of what it offers to the marketer - and especially for a small business owner. I am also a rapidly growing fan of HubPages and a long time supporter of its uncle, Squidoo. That’s why I have decided to start a hub on HubPages listing some tips of using Facebook as a marketing tool for small business owners.

Unlike MySpace, Facebook is nice and clean and is over-all a much more professional platform I think, and also less suseptible to spam and mass friend adding like MySpace suffers from.

Additionally, Facebook is also much more advanced as far as interliking various forms of media, from posting article links, to sharing a Twitter feed, etc. As a result, these tools provide a great opportunity for using Facebook to market your company’s products and services.

My first hub page features a brief introduction to marketing opportunities on Facebook, and the second piece gets more into tips for setting up a Facebook profile.

Stay tuned for more Facebook marketing tips that I’ll connect to those hub pages and also post here on Grow Together.
